A mirror is dimmed until translucent, reflecting back the ineffable lingering quality of a blessed quietness. The forever imprint of a particular time and place is manifested elsewhere as disappearance, riven by the lonely wilderness of scattered remains. The fade of subjectivity is now just a keepsake, expanding and contracting in the agony of fundamental emptiness. As the angels sing in the ruins of woe, the pangs of grief tug at my heart.
