Wavering signals are tuned to a chorus of cathected objects, neglected at the altars of imperceptibility, but cherished at the shrines of interference. Sublimated impulses emit harsh capriciousness, becoming unreliable in a state of everlasting frisson. To progress beyond cathexis, concealed strength relies on the predictability of reciprocated affection. Phantasmic arrows are stored in a container of vulnerability, drawn and released into an oscillating field of tender bellows. Once struck, the tines may tremble in fear, but as feelings transform into actions, the wistful cherub will return to a place of serenity.
