Each movement in Loop Pedal Pieces goes through a ritual of accumulation, transformation, and decay over the course of 7 events of equal duration. The guitarist uses a timer to navigate cryptic graphics and intuit proportion of gesture. Foreign objects (preparations) and extended techniques are utilized throughout in a choreographed and improvised fashion, aiming to extract the unpredictable interior of observable events that are not man-made. This vessel of nostalgia permeates the earth, horizon, and sky, only to revel in the sorrow of forward motion.
